AuctionCheckout provides 256-bit encryption throughout
every aspect of our website including during checkout and merchant administration
of your AuctionCheckout account. This is the highest level of encryption
available for e-commerce transactions.
AuctionCheckout is a checkout service for internet sellers
who have their own merchant processing accounts and sell on auction sites
like eBay and Overstock. When you make a payment via AuctionCheckout you
are paying the seller (merchant) directly. Unlike other payment services
that restrict your cardholder rights, you are always protected by your credit
card agreement. If you do not receive the item or the item arrives not as
advertised, you may request a refund from the seller. If necessary, you
may also request a chargeback from your credit card company. This is your
most fundamental protection as a cardholder and we will work with you in
the unlikely event of fraud to reverse the charges on your account.
There is no buyer registration required. You simply provide
your credit card information they way you would pay on any other online
retailer. And there are no buyer fees to use AuctionCheckout.
You should contact the seller
directly to inquire about their refund policies.
AuctionCheckout uses 256-bit encryption on checkout. Plus
we are compatible with many security features including CVV2 and AVS. If
your seller uses the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode payment
initiatives you will also be given the opportunity to authenticate yourself
at the time of payment..
AuctionCheckout follows the Visa CISP (Cardholder Information
Security Program) guidelines. We do not store your credit card information
or your eBay information anywhere in our system. And all of your checkout
information is encrypted for added security.
As a Certified eBay Developer, we comply with eBay's Auth
& Auth authentication program. By logging in at eBay before you make
a payment, you ensure that your eBay password is viewed only by eBay. Upon
successful login, eBay sends us an encrypted token that authenticates you
as the correct winning bidder.
